Process Molding Technician II (PMT II)

 

Liquid Container L.P. (www.liquidcontainer.com) is a growth oriented national multi-plant manufacturer of custom and stock containers and we have an opportunity fora Lead Process Molding Technician (PMT II) at our highly automated Newark, DE facility.

 

The Lead Process Molding Technician will work closely with the plant on directing the work of the machine technicians in the operation of the blow molding machines and ancillary equipment. The position is very ""hands-on"" and will require making necessary changes and adjustments to the technical blow molding and auxiliary equipment as well as supervise and assist on mold and color changes.

 

• Provide training on new procedures and processes of the machines to maximize production efficiencies and quality.

 

• Perform processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.

 

• Monitor resin, dryer, material handling and color systems for appropriate processing conditions.

 

• Perform assigned preventative maintenance work.

 

• Perform troubleshooting and programming on the line.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Process or Set-up capacity in plastics

 

• Strong leadership traits.

 

• Ability to perform and recognize bottle quality and operating efficiency.

 

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.

 

• High school diploma or equivalent required, advanced technical or vocational training preferred.
