Utility III Operator

Liquid Container L.P. (www.liquidcontainer.com) is a growth oriented national multi-plant manufacturer of custom and stock containers and we have an opportunity for an experienced UtilityIII Operator in our West Chicago, IL facility.

The Utility Operator position is very ""hands-on"" and will require making necessary start-up and adjustments to the general packaging and auxiliary equipment in the facility.

Specific Duties Include but are not limited to:

- Perform start-up preventative maintenance on general packaging equipment.

- Operate all production equipment and provide minor adjustments as necessary.

- Assist in line changeovers including mold changeovers, trim tooling and color changeovers.

- Complete daily documentation on process and/or machine issues.

- Provide direction and training to new employees

- Operate Lift Truck to provide lines with necessary materials.

Job Requirements:

Our facilities are highly automated and the ideal candidate should possess:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment providing technical and mechanical support.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership traits
- Ability to be Lift Truck Certified
- High School diploma or equivalent
